Bastila mother brought up Bastila in Talravin until she was chosen to become a Jedi at a very young age. However the relationship was strained, Bastila resented her mother due to fact that Bastila thought her mother pushed her father to go on these hunts which eventually cost him his life. However Helena adored Bastila and was very fond of her daughter she dhowed holograms of her to her workers. When time went on however Helena became very ill and was nearing death, her husband hubnted for treasure in Tatooine for Krayt Dragon Pearls which cost him his life.

Helena tried desperately to look for her daughter until one day her twilek companion Malare found Bastila with Revan and told her about her mother's illness. The two met up in Tatooine and the meeting did not go in Helena's favour. Her daughter was still angry with her and believed it was her fault her father died and did not believe she was ill. She asked her daughter to find a holocron of her father, Bastila was relucant to give it to her mother but then she found out her mother was truly dying, Helena let Bastila keep it and Bastila lent her 500 credits for treatment in Coruscant, before Helena left she told Revan to take care of her daughter. Her fate is still unknown.
